Mealprep will already save you lots of money as you can make your dinners, lunches and breakfasts ahead, making it easier to budget and decreasing the chances of unexpected splurges on additional shopping during the week and take-aways.
But you can also save money by stretching your ingredients. One of the most versatile ones to do that with is chicken.
This weekend, I made boiled a chicken to make chicken soup, left some of the meat in the stock, used some of the meat to make a quiche and some of the meat to have with broccoli and potatoes for lunch. All in all it took me less than 2 hours to cook everything and essentially I made 10+ meals based on one medium chicken.
