I’m Lia – I’m nearly 30, live in Edinburgh with my fiancé and my wee dug Luce.
By day, I work in financial compliance. By night (or rather, evening) I spend my time mostly at the gym. I love cooking, but I’m also refusing to let it take over my life. Hence the meal prep. Every weekend (or, when I’m away, on Monday evening) a dedicate a couple of hours to making food for the next few days ahead so I can:
- save money
- eat a balanced meal which will help me to achieve my fitness goals
- enjoy my evenings and spend them as I wish
The idea of the blog is to provide recipes for dishes which are meal prep friendly and then also meal prep ideas of things which you can combine. I will also do posts on kitchen tools and Tupperware.
I won’t bother with macros as I think there’s more to life than tracking food – but you should be able to work them out with the help of an app, such as MyFitnessPal, if that’s what you’re after.
